Who are your
Coastal Wolves?
Welcome to the Coastal Wolves—a new rugby club on British Columbia’s beautiful Sunshine Coast. Founded by experienced international players and local business owners, we share a passion for uniting our community through the transformative power of rugby.
Our Mission
From Langdale to Lund, our goal is to create an inclusive environment where players of all ages and skill levels can thrive. We believe rugby is more than just a sport—it fosters respect, builds resilience, and forges lasting bonds both on and off the field.
Our Beginnings
Established in 2025, the Wolves first set our sights on Mini Rugby, offering young athletes the chance to learn fundamental skills and grow in confidence. By focusing on youth development from the outset, we aim to spark a lifelong love for the game and lay a strong foundation for the future of the club.
Looking Ahead
Beyond youth rugby, we plan to expand into a fully fledged rugby club that welcomes players of all ages and backgrounds, including an U19 program for young women and men, and adult women’s and men’s by 2026. We envision a vibrant rugby culture along the Sunshine Coast, complete with regular training sessions, competitive matches, and social events that bring, families, neighbourhoods and towns together.
Community Focus
Our commitment goes beyond the pitch. From hosting rugby clinics to organizing charity events, the Wolves strive to become a vital hub of community engagement. We see every scrum, tackle, and try as an opportunity to promote active lifestyles, encourage personal growth, and inspire the next generation of leaders.
